1What this hook covers
This hook records what the finished output is and how long it lasts: a full-quality download, a file fetched from an API, a link or file that expires, or hosted URLs kept for a time the caller sets. 15 tools document one of these; 9 of them say the result expires.
A link that expires is a deadline in disguise. Anything fetched through a time-limited link has to be copied to storage the team controls before the link lapses.
