Descript documents editing hand-off and subtitle files, which MiniMax's pages leave out. MiniMax documents downloads, which Descript's pages leave out. For API access the two match: an API for its own models. For agent hooks the two match: an MCP connection. For resolution, Descript names 4K and MiniMax 1080p. For job signals, Descript names a webhook or callback URL and MiniMax a status polled until done. Neither documents file formats or SDKs.
