Wiring up D-ID or HeyGen
D-ID and HeyGen document different things on four of the nine hooks: subtitle files, downloads, file formats and job signals. From 3 source pages, read 2026-09-25; no maker pays to be listed.
| Feature | D-ID | HeyGen |
|---|---|---|
| Public API | An API for its own models | An API for its own models |
| Agent and automation hooks | An MCP connection | An MCP connection |
| Highest resolution named | Not documented in the docs read | Not documented in the docs read |

| The finished file | A link or file that expires | A file fetched from the API |
| File formats named | Not documented in the docs read | MP4 |
| Official SDKs | Not documented in the docs read | Not documented in the docs read |

Inclusion rule. The nine hooks every tool in the register is read for. Order. The order hooks take on every tool page.
1Where they part
HeyGen documents subtitle files and file formats, which D-ID's pages leave out. For API access the two match: an API for its own models. For agent hooks the two match: an MCP connection. For downloads, D-ID names a link or file that expires and HeyGen a file fetched from the API. For job signals, D-ID names a status polled until done and HeyGen a webhook or callback URL. Neither documents resolution, editing hand-off or SDKs.
